Referral discount versus inviter reward

The conditions for rewarding the inviter are not necessarily the conditions for the invited customer’s discount. Wise’s free-transfer invite program distinguishes the two. Do not increase a payment just to meet someone else’s reward threshold.
What a fee-free voucher covers
Wise says a fee-free voucher may reduce or remove the transfer fee. It is single use, applies automatically to the next eligible transaction, and expires six months after signup if unused. It does not apply to paying with the Wise card or adding money in the same currency, and external costs such as taxes are excluded. Check Wise’s voucher rules for all restrictions.
A voucher’s transfer allowance is not cash credited to your account. If your transfer exceeds that allowance, the excess can still attract fees. Check the offer before you fund a transfer
- Open the invitation and read the benefit and eligibility terms displayed for you.
- Check that the destination is Wise’s official website before entering signup information.
- Set up the transfer you actually need, using your intended amount, currencies and payment method.

- Review total payment, final recipient amount and arrival time before deciding whether to proceed.
Keep a private copy of the terms if you need to ask Wise about an offer later. A promotion is useful only if the complete transfer still fits your needs.
Why is my discount missing?
Check the invitation used, previous voucher use, expiry and transaction exclusions. These checks cannot diagnose your account’s eligibility.
If you expected a benefit and the quote does not show it, ask Wise through your signed-in help flow before funding. Provide the invitation link, signup date and a description of the missing benefit. Do not assume that paying first will cause a discount or reimbursement to appear later.
