Start an India transfer by checking the currency and account you will pay from, as well as where the recipient will be paid. Wise publishes separate funding and payout currency lists; support for a destination does not prove that its currency can fund a new transfer.

Read the “sending from” section rather than borrowing recipient details or limits from the “sending to” section. For example, account information used to receive CAD in Canada is not the information needed for an Indian recipient.

The KWD, QAR, OMR and SAR entries describe what was absent from Wise’s currency list at review. They do not establish that a resident can never use a different eligible currency or account. Any such payment needs its own eligibility and total-cost check.
Before paying from any country
Choose the recipient method, then confirm the payment instructions for your actual source account. Keep a record of the total amount charged, final INR and arrival estimate. If another conversion is needed before funding, include it in your comparison.
